The  PlayStation Classic  is a plug-and-play system, similar to Nintendo’s  NES Classic  and the  SNES Classic , that comes pre-loaded with 20 games. It’s a  tiny version of the PS1  you can hold in your hand and play with friends on any modern television — and that’s all great news. The unit will retail for $100, and we couldn’t be more excited to get our retro- loving hands all over this thing. The big question is, what games are going to be included? The PS1 has a huge selection of amazing, classic games, but they aren’t all going to fit on this tiny system. As stated above, 20 are going on the roster — including Tekken 3, Final Fantasy 7, and Ridge Racer Type 4. Capcom announced earlier today that games in development at the studio had been terminated. Capcom’s main western studio is being shut down, the publisher confirmed today. Employees at Capcom Vancouver, which was primarily known for the  Dead Rising  series and was already hit by layoffs earlier this year, were told today that the studio is closing. In a statement to  Kotaku , a company rep noted that “as a result of reviewing titles in development at Capcom Vancouver, Capcom has decided to cancel the development projects at this studio and will concentrate development of major titles in Japan.” Outstream Video   00:00 00:00 According to Capcom, 158 people will lose their jobs due to the shutdown. “A skeleton crew will remain until January 2019 to finalize closure operations and logistics,” the rep said.
